The Fall Transition

Every woman has that one summer dress that makes them feel beautiful.

You know the one?

You've probably worn it 100 times this summer, hoping no one noticed, but it's your staple dress, so who really cares?

This is that dress for me.

I purchased it last summer at the cutest little boutique in Brooklyn, and it fits me like a glove.

Now that fall has finally arrived (thank GOD), it's time to let go of that summer dress…

…or nah…

You don't have to shove that dress in the back of the corner closet just yet! There are many ways to transition your summer dress into the upcoming crisp fall weather.

For my look, I decided to trade out a fun, summer headband for a floppy brim hat and exchange the layers of necklaces for a statement scarf that incorporates warm, neutral fall tones.

I challenge you to dig through your drawers (it's probably been a while…) and be creative!

Other fall transition pieces are vests, chambrays or ankle booties.

Cheers to falling in love with your new summer dress!
