With each new holiday season, I always feel a tug on my heart to find a way to give back or "pay it forward" to someone in need. I always here these beautiful stories about how someone blessed a family with Christmas presents, or left a substantial tip to a waiter at a local restaurant. I tend to think to myself, "I really should do something like that." But to be honest, I do not give back as much as I really should. Now, before I go off on a Dave Ramsey money management spiel, I really want to share an organization with you all that has allowed me to give back this holiday season, while purchasing Christmas presents for my family and friends. This organization is called

GO Exchange has a mission of saving families in Haiti and East Africa by offering the men and women sustainable jobs. The global boutique allows us to purchase beautifully made items, such as handmade scarves, shoes, jewelry, pajamas, pillows and so much more! When I was first introduced to this unique organization, I knew that THIS was a way for me to give back. I could purchase Christmas presents (which I have to do anyway) and feel great with the purchase, knowing that 100% of the profits go toward the care of orphaned and abandoned children.

So now that I've briefly introduced you to GO Ex, I've decided I would share a holiday gift guide in case you decide to join me in the support of this awesome ministry. Here we go.

1. For Mom

This necklace is handmade in the Papillon artisan center in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and pairs paper beads with handcrafted ceramic beads. And when Mom hears the story behind the necklace, she'll definitely love it even more.

2. For Dad

These flannel jammies are handmade in the organization's Port-au-Prince, Haiti, sewing center and look incredibly soft. Plus, Dad's gotta have a fresh pair of PJ's when he's watching the holiday NFL games.

3. For Grandma

We all know how much our Grandmothers love Christmas decorations. So, why not give her these adorable handmade ornaments made from recycled 55-gallon drums at the Papillon artisan center in Port-au-Prince Haiti?

4. For the BF

The GO Exchange has a lot of cool T-shirts that spark a conversation about their incredible mission. These are handmade in their Port-au-Prince, Haiti sewing center and are 100% cotton. Get your boyfriend on board with supporting the organization as well!

5. For Sis

All of the hand-batiked scarves, made in Jinja, Uganda, are exclusively created by artisans for The GO Exchange. The process of batiking is incredibly extensive and unique. I love all of these scarves so much more after learning about how they are made. A great gift for your sis or any woman!

Alright, there are A LOT more gift ideas, so go check out their online boutique! The most important focus of this mission is giving back, so let's make that our main focus this year. I know I want to try.

What are some ways you "pay it forward" throughout the holiday season?
