Earlier this week, I shared with you ladies how I chose to pull off wearing head-to-toe black. Well, it just so happens that today's post features our favorite holiday color. Any guesses as to what it may be? (Okay, fine. It's black again.)
But let's be honest, there is no article of clothing more timeless than a black dress. Plus, we've already learned some creative ways to style them! (If you missed that post, no worries, just click here.)
As I've become an official "adult" this year, I've been presented multiple event opportunities in which I can dress up and wear the pieces in my closet that I never had a reason to before. Now that Christmas is ONE WEEK AWAY, I am thrilled to finally be able to wear formal attire to holiday parties for working professionals without feeling over or under-dressed.
So, I've chosen this elegant, black Banana Republic long-sleeve dress to represent my first, official holiday celebration as an adult. However, the kid inside of me wanted to add some sparkle, hence the tights and drop earrings, as well as a red shoe to throw in some Christmas pizzazz.

Merry Christmas and enjoy each and every holiday party with style!
P.S.: I advise you to mosey on down to the Starbucks on Broad Street and sip a holiday beverage while enjoying the beautiful Christmas decorations in the Sheraton. Such a pleasant holiday delight!
