Valentine’s Day causes mixed emotions throughout the world. Some people love to celebrate, while others dread even the thought of the “romantic” holiday. Luckily, we’ve found a Valentine’s Day event that anyone and everyone will love regardless of their relationship status (or lack there of). It’s the perfect excuse to dress up and look your finest, while supporting a great cause. What is it? Drum roll please…
Come one…come all…come to the Broken Hearts Ball!
When: February 13 | 8-11 PM
Where: Stratton Hall
Cost: Early Bird: $40 | At the door: $50
Whether you’re flying solo, attending with your besties or your special someone, you’ll have the most memorable night enjoying drinks, hors d’oeuvres, dancing, photo booth fun, and good company at the Broken Hearts Ball presented by Partnership! The best part? All proceeds will go toward mending broken hearts at Partnership’s Family Violence Program and Rape Crisis Center.
Essentially, you’re experiencing an incredible night that will help heal broken hearts affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. Sounds a little bit better than spending your Valentine’s Day either at a crowded, loud restaurant or indulging in spoonfuls of cookie dough ice cream and self-pity.
But wait…did we mention the pre-party on February 10 starting at 5 PM?
That’s right ladies and gents, there is a pre-party. Get ready for Valentine’s Day Weekend and the Broken Hearts Ball by going to the pre-party at the Flying Squirrel. Why? Two words: wine night. Meaning half off wine. Cue the trumpets.
It gets even better.
10% of sales from the pre-party will also go to Partnership’s Crisis Services. Drink responsibly for this incredible cause and if you haven’t by this time (which, we don’t understand why not), then you can purchase your ticket to the Broken Hearts Ball there!
If you already have Valentine’s Day plans, consider them cancelled. If you don’t, you do now. We’re so excited for you to attend and know you’ll have a ball (no pun intended).
