Cupcakes, step aside. We're obsessed with a new dessert. In case you haven't noticed, macarons are all the rage in the dessert world. The fluffy, sweet filling and delicious meringue-based shell bring a whole new level of elegance and sophistication to a sweet treat.
We recently met up with the self-proclaimed DIY Pinterest queen, Mishal Greenwood. In case you don't recognize her name, she is the baking genius behind MacaronsbyMishal. Mishal fell in love with macarons a few years ago and has since decided to ditch the grocery store brands and create her own. After spending countless hours in the kitchen creating the perfect scientific formula, Mishal now offers more than 25 different flavors, with pistachio, salted caramel, chocolate and white chocolate raspberry being her leading top sellers. Not to mention, she also offers holiday favorites such as pumpkin spice and peppermint mocha.
Although she's extremely talented in the kitchen, Mishal's baking is just a hobby but one, I might add, where we are very grateful!
