Remember that one time The Bachelor contestant Megan Bell (from Nashville) showed up at my house?! *FANGIRLING SO HARD*

Okay, here's the story:

So every week, our church's small group consisting of about 10 twenty-something year old women come together for a Bible study. Okay, and to watch the Bachelor. In case you haven't been watching this season, The Bachelor contestant Chris Soules is your classic American farm boy from middle-of-nowhere Iowa who is "looking to find his soulmate." #lol

Last week, contestant Megan Bell, a makeup artist from Nashville, tweeted to all of her fans about crashing some Bachelor viewing parties. One of the girls in our group decided to respond to her via Twitter and suggest she crash our weekly viewing party in Chattanooga. The rest of us ladies hopped on the Twitter train and encouraged her to come meet up with the classiest gals in Chatt (no offense). To much surprise, Megan responded that she would come visit us in Chattanooga!

Now, I must admit, we had our doubts that she would actually come. We even questioned if we were being "catfished". But alas, no call was necessary to Nev Schulman because she actually showed up at our door!

(Still geeking).

Our group prepared a gorgeous snack buffet, complimented with champagne and, yes, a red rose for the contestant.

When Megan walked through our front door, we all bursted into the most stereotypical Bachelor fangirl scream that you can imagine. She greeted us with hugs and even brought US red roses! Seriously, she was so sweet and gorgeous. Her skin was glowing, y'all.

She was accompanied by her mother, who was the most precious lady and snapped pictures of us the entire time. Her best friend, Sydney, (also happened to be from Chatt) came with her as well. Although she could only stay for 30 minutes because she had two other parties to crash, we had the most fun time gathering around her and listening to her life-changing experience.

A few things we learned:

1. There is no gym or fitness area at the house. All the girls can do is eat, therefore it's so easy to gain weight. Megan told us that for two weeks straight, she only ate cucumbers and pickles. #vom

2. The day of the limo arrival, the girls were getting ready at 6 a.m. and did not finish filming the scene until 8 a.m. the next morning! That's why we were all confused how it suddenly went from night to day during a few of the interviews. The limo and arrival time took over 24 hours!

3. Megan's best friends from the show are Ashley I. and Mackenzie. She says she will be friends with them for the rest of her life! #aww

4. Megan had the longest one-on-one date when she visited the Grand Canyon. Her date lasted 14 hours, where she was able to really get to know Chris and enjoy a beautiful sunset not featured on the episode.

5. We learned that Megan packed SIX suitcases for the show! The girls bunked 5 to a room but there were plenty of bathrooms so getting ready was never an issue. Thank God.

So last night was a pretty cool experience to say the least. Megan Bell was a beautiful woman inside and out and made us all feel truly special! She was personable, relatable and gave us all a story to tell our future daughters, who will also one day become obsessed with The Bachelor.
