Bold Summer Lips

There ain't no better time to pop out bright lip colors than summertime! I love the ease of throwing on a white v-neck t-shirt, shorts, and a fun pop of color on my lips to make myself looked effortlessly chic. Sometimes a bold lip is the only statement you need in order to pull together an outfit without any other accessories.
The cherry on top is that within each lip color, there are multiple shades of the color that allow any skin tone to find its match. (think 50 shades of pink) When I bought my first real lipstick, (aka not at Limited Too) I went to a makeup store and had the stylist help match the perfect shade of red for my skin tone. I would encourage you to visit your local Sephora or makeup store and ask for some assistance if you're feeling frustrated. Here are some of our favorite lip colors that you'll find us wearing this summer:
This bright pink immediately reminded me of Britt's signature pink lips from last Bachelor's season. I love how much it pops, and it is the perfect shade for summer! I'm also obsessed with the Too Faced Melted lip glosses. Seriously, the colors last so long and are easy to apply.
The Too Faced Melted in red...honestly you can't go wrong. Every woman should own a great red lipstick, in my opinion. It's classy, feminine, and makes you feel confident!
If you've got that nice summer glow, try a fun orange lipstick! It really pops nicely and is fabulous for summer! This one is a Maybelline lipstick in the shade Electric Orange. Pick one up at your local Walgreens!
Feeling playful this summer? Try this new color-blocking lip trend! We paired red and purple (both are Too Faced Melted glosses) and absolutely love this look. Be bold and have fun with it!
Finally, we have our favorite purple gloss that we've actually been wearing all year! In the winter, we wore darker shades of the color but now we have pulled out the bright purple, which is vivid and beautiful. (“Vision In Violet” in The Elixir range by Maybelline)
