Summer Hair Products

"Summertime and the livin' is easy" but the hair is definitely not. With the lovely Chattanooga humidity mixed with the perspiration from the heat (because ladies don't "sweat" haha), it can be difficult to manage our hair without spending a long time styling it. I know you feel my pain here.

However, we have come to offer your hair hope. Contrary to what you may think, there are some great hair products available for just a few dollars that make taming your hair a breeze. Cue, "Summer breeze makes me feel fine." Check out some of our favorite products for hair styling and consider giving them a try this season!

As a naturally curly-headed woman, it can be difficult to tame my hair and control frizz. However, the one product that is my go-to for styling is the Garnier Fructis Curl Shaping Spray Gel.

After I wash my hair, I spray this product all throughout my hair and scrunch it with my fingers. I typically will put my hair in a bun for a while, so that the product can sit and begin to work its magic. Then, I dry it with a diffuser that is connected to my hair dryer. Finish it off with a few more sprays to make the curls hold strongly and spray it down with Garnier Fructis hairspray. My curls are really taken advantage of and hold really well throughout the day!

Hey ladies! I'm very low maintenance as far as any kind of hair product. My top go to's are the moroccan sea salt spray and Garnier Fructis Full & Plush Root Amp.

I find these two products to go hand in hand because I have a lot of fine hair (making the illusion that my hair is thick). When I let my hair air dry with zero product, it has no volume or texture. Therefore, when it's still damp, I use a spritz here and there of the sea salt spray and my hair gets instant body. When I let my hair air dry with the sea salt spray, it gives that effortlessly put together look that is perfect for summer. When I spray in the Root Amp spray mousse, my hair no longer dries flat to my head. All I need is a fan blowing my hair around and I'm set.
