Once upon a time, on a cozy Friday evening, I was scrolling through Pinterest like the stereotypical 24-year-old woman that I am. When all of a sudden, I stumbled upon the most delicious looking dessert that I had ever seen. Two words: s'mores dip. It took my roommate and me a solid two minutes to decide that we had Friday night plans involving a Target run, red wine, and chocolatey goodness. #BestFridayEver I'm a s'mores lover to the core. If there's a bonfire, my first thought is s'mores (followed by hot dogs...but that's another obsession). S'mores dip is the perfect dessert to bring to a party because it's quick to make and guaranteed to be consumed. It's also really pretty, so it's appealing to the eye. What you need: * 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips * Graham cracker squares * 1/2 tbsp butter * Jumbo marshmallows cut into halves Sidenote: If a recipe is less than five ingredients, it catches our attention. This is too easy to make. The dip is made in a cast-iron skillet; however, I'm sure any baking dish would do. Just adjust the amount of chocolate depending on the size of your dish, keeping in mind that the chocolate will not melt as easy if the layer is too thick. 1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees and place the skillet in the oven while it's preheating.
2. Once the oven is preheated, remove the skillet with a potholder and place the butter on the bottom of the skillet. Swirl the butter around the skillet so it melts and coats the bottom and sides of the pan. 3. Pour the chocolate chips evenly across the bottom of the pan. Don't burn yourself either! 4. Arrange your marshmallow halves on top of the chocolate chips and cover the chocolate completely.
5. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until the marshmallows are toasted to your liking. 6. Remove the pan and let it sit for 5 minutes.
7. Dive into that pan with your graham cracker squares and a bottle of red wine!

Voila! Enjoy!
