Rainy Day Style

Sometimes-actually more often than not- I enjoy a good rainy day. Something about the dreary weather helps me feel motivated at the office and can also add the perfect touch of coziness to a lazy Saturday morning. Don't get me wrong, I love the sunshine and relaxing by the pool whenever there's time. But if the rain is going to come, I might as well try my best to enjoy it!
Since it has been raining more lately (anyone else feel that way?), I'm trying to play with my style a little bit so the weather doesn't dampen my wardrobe (pun intended). I absolutely love trench coats, including this one I'm wearing from J. Crew. Trench coats are classy and help me feel more sophisticated, rather than sporting my North Face rain jacket like I typically do. Granted, they can be a bit pricier, but I've founded a couple other cute options for less: like this one from Forever 21 or this one from H&M.
