I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is two days away. Seriously, where the heck has the year gone?! Anyone else feel like 2015 has zoomed by? Nonetheless, my favorite holiday has arrived, and I'm too pumped to indulge in the biggest meal of my life. Don't judge me.
This year, I'll be spending Thanksgiving with family and friends in my hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina. My mom (who cooks for a living) makes an incredible spread, and I'm able to reflect on the year with thankfulness, surrounded by people I love dearly and only see a few times a year.
This year, as every year, I pretend that I'm going to roll out of bed and enjoy Thanksgiving in some comfy sweatpants and a sweatshirt. Let's be honest though, it never actually happens. However, dressing comfortable is a must so that I don't feel as miserable as I normally do after stuffing my face. In other words, I don't have to unbutton my jeans for my stomach to take a breath. This year, I'm wearing this adorable high slit maxi dress with my super comfy black skinny pants that are essentially thick leggings. The stretch in the pant is comfy on my waist, and the maxi dress is flowy and doesn't cling to my body. The look allows me to combine cuteness with comfiness in order to create the most ideal Thanksgiving day outfit.

No matter your outfit, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends! Remember to actually pause and take some time to reflect and be thankful this year.
